My particular interests are using acupuncture for women’s health and children’s health.
Trained to care for you:
I qualified as an acupuncturist in 2006 and have a BSc in Acupuncture from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (CICM) in Reading.
In 2019 I completed two further courses at CICM:
– a 1-year Post Graduate training in Gynaecology, Fertility and Obstetrics.
– a 1-year Post Graduate training Paediatric Acupuncture.
I am a Member of the British Acupuncture Council.
Acupuncture for women:
Women go through lots of hormonal changes through their lives, from puberty to the menopause and beyond. When you add in the stresses and strains of modern life – trying to find a work/life balance, caring for others, diet, exercise – it is not surprising that women can easily feel out of balance, tired, overwhelmed and off kilter, especially during menstruation, conception issues, and peri- and post-menopause. Alongside attention to lifestyle, acupuncture can help women feel calmer and more supported through these times. Find out more here.
Acupuncture for children:
Acupuncture treats both the body and the spirit, so can be brilliant not only with physical problems, but also with feelings of sadness, anger, fear, or any of the other feelings children may be struggling with. It can give them much needed support as they navigate their way through their young lives, with the many issues that their health, school, friends and family can bring up. I work in a large, airy room in Pontcanna, Cardiff, just by the lovely Llandaff Fields. The address is:
1a Fields Park Road
